In recent news, comedian Ali Wong's estranged husband, Justin Hakuta, has filed for joint custody of their two children. According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Hakuta, 41, has requested joint legal and physical custody of their daughters, Mari, 8, and Nikki, 6. The filing also states that other issues related to their divorce will be resolved through mediation.
Wong, also 41, has not made any public response to Hakuta's legal motion. It was confirmed in December 2023 that Wong had filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split. In her petition, she requested joint custody of their children and revealed that she and Hakuta were in the process of mediating spousal support and asset division.
