Ali Wong Emmy Daniel Martin
Ali Wong accepts the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie award for "Beef" onstage at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards held at the Peacock Theater on January 15, 2024 in Los Angeles, California.

Ali Wong just made history at Monday's Emmy Awards, becoming the first Asian woman to take home the award for outstanding lead actress in a limited or anthology series or movie for her role in the Netflix drama Beef.

Wong's latest win comes off the heels of several historic wins this awards season, including for best performance by a female actor in a limited series, anthology series, or a motion picture made for television at the Golden Globes, also for Beef. She became the first Asian American to receive the accolade, according to NBC News.
