Rangers hero Alfredo Morelos has put speculation over his Ibrox future to one side as he celebrates his birthday at home in Colombia.
The Ibrox talisman hasn't featured for the club since March after he suffered a thigh injury while representing Colombia, leaving Gio van Bronckhorst with out a recognised striker for several key fixtures. He missed out on Rangers' historic run to the Europa League final in Seville with his last appearance coming during the win over Dundee as the club battled for the Scottish Premiership title.
This summer there are concerns that the appearance at Dens Park could be his last appearance for the with the Colombian out of contract at the end of next season. If sporting director Ross Wilson cannot convince the frontman to pen a new deal at the club they could be forced to sell this summer, or risk Morelos leaving agreeing a pre-contract move from January.
While fans will be keen to see a new agreement reached, Morelos is back home in South America ahead of pre-season celebrating turning 26.
And there was plenty of nods to Rangers throughout the day
Former teammates Jordan Jones and Daniel Candeias took to Instagram to wish Morelos a happy birthday, while Light Blues legend Nacho Novo also sent the frontman well wishes.
Morelos also shared a snap of him replicating his infamous '55' celebration with a pal.
He also shared clips of goals during his time at Ibrox to his Instagram story, as well as the club's birthday message, as he underlined his Rangers focus.
Morelos' charity foundation also thanked him for his efforts in the Cordoba area of Colombia, adding on Twitter: "God bless you and give you everything you want. Much love, peace and health. On behalf of the Administrative area, the boys, girls and parents, we wish you a day full of blessings."
The striker is expected back for pre-season with Rangers before the end of the month ahead of the first friendly fixture against Sunderland on July 9.
