There will be a new name that Liverpool fans can get on the back of their shirts and that man is Alexis Mac Allister.

The midfielder arrives at Anfield following a brilliant spell with Brighton & Hove Albion. Roberto De Zerbi's side finished narrowly below the Reds in the Premier League table in a historic season down at the AMEX Stadium.

Mac Allister was one of the key figures in their rise up the English top-flight standings and featured in their 3-0 win over Liverpool on the south coast as well as ending their defence of the FA Cup. Just months after immortalising himself in Argentinian folklore, as Lionel Messi captained his nation to World Cup success beating France on penalties in Qatar, he is now a Liverpool player.
