New Celtic star Alexandro Bernabei will not serve a two-game suspension in Scottish football, according to a report.
The 21-year-old has been given the green light after the necessary paperwork lodged at Hampden from the Argentina FA made no mention of the punishment following a red card in his final game for Lanus. Scottish Express Sport state Bernabei is all set to start in Celtic 's first competitive game with Aberdeen on July 31.
The Argentina youth international was given his marching orders for the flashpoint in the game against Colon but it's all go for a player who is currently with the first team squad in Austria. Lanus fulfilled two fixtures while Bernabei was still on their books as the Celtic defender was unveiled last Thursday. The defender will now battle Greg Taylor for a starting berth against the Dons.
The £3.75m signing comes with a strong reputation with respected South American football writer Tim Vickery convinced he can become a big hit under Ange Postecoglou.
