Alexandria rugby star Duncan Munn has been named as co-captain of the Scotland U20s squad for this year’s Six Nations.
Former Loch Lomond ace Duncan, who still helps out coaching at the Beechwood club, starred on his Six Nations debut for Kenny Murray’s team last year, and will captain the side next month alongside Liam McConnell.
Munn, a dynamic centre, currently plays for Edinburgh-based FOSROC Super6 club Boroughmuir Bears.
He is also both part of the FOSROC Scottish Rugby Academy, with Munn training with Glasgow Warriors on a full-time basis.
And this year it will be easier than ever for youngsters following in Duncan’s footsteps at Loch Lomond to watch him in action - with Scotland’s home matches held at Glasgow’s Scotstoun Stadium.
The Scotland team will welcome Wales for their first home match of the championship on Friday 10 February at Scotstoun Stadium, Glasgow (kick-off 7.15pm).
Ireland come to Scotstoun on Friday 10 March (kick-off 7.15pm) and the home ties conclude with the final fixture against Italy on Sunday 19 March at Scotstoun (kick-off 2pm).
The tournament gets underway on Friday (February 3) against England.
