Singer Alexandra Burke will play her “dream role” as the Queen of Funk in the world premiere of I’m Every Woman The Chaka Khan Musical.

Burke, 37, who rose to fame after winning The X Factor in 2008, will portray the award-winning singer-songwriter in the new musical about her life.
