Emmerdale fans may one day get their wish and see Jamie Tate return to the ITV soap.
As Emmerdale fans know, Jamie, played by Alexander Lincoln, disappeared in 2021 with villagers fearing he died after he crashed into a lake while driving. There’s been lots of rumours about possible returns but we’ve yet to see Jaime back in the village.
If he did return, Jamie in the village would be sure to cause fireworks. And acting star Alexander is seemingly not against lighting the match.

Speaking to The Sun, Alexander revealed there have been talks about an Emmerdale return. Asked if Emmerdale bosses want him back, Alexander, 29, said: "Yes definitely, It's a conversation that I've had quite a few times.
"At the moment I'm quite enjoying this vibe and writing, so we'll see what happens in the future." Since leaving Emmerdale, Alexander has enjoyed a number of roles but the ITV soap still holds a special place in his heart.

"I loved it there. It was the first place I worked at and I try to keep up as much as I can.
"I'm still friends with the cast, I still see Lawrence (Robb) a little bit, not as much as I'd like to as I don't go up north that much anymore. But I do speak to quite a few people."
