Former Emmerdale star Alexander Lincoln has confirmed talks over a possible return and a resolution to the Jamie Tate storyline have taken place.
As Emmerdale fans know, Jamie, played by Alexander Lincoln, disappeared in 2021 with villagers fearing he died after he crashed into a lake while driving. The character is in fact alive unbeknownst to the villagers.
Many Emmerdale fans thought we might see Jamie return as part of the soap’s 50th anniversary celebrations last year. Although, this failed to materialise.
