Alexander Isak feels that Newcastle United are running hot just at the right time in the Premier League.
At a time when Tottenham Hotspur stuttered at Everton on Monday night after throwing away the lead, and Manchester United - who Newcastle beat 24 hours earlier - are stumbling, the Magpies have won three wins in a row. But it was the performance levels that impressed Isak so much on Sunday.
Isak was praised highly on primetime TV by Sky Sports' leading pundit duo Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher when they described as one of the best modern forwards in the game. For Isak he is simply concerned about being a team player.

Isak said: "Sunday was the best performance I have been involved in since signing for the club. I'm not sure what happened in other performances (before) this season of course.
"I should have scored v Man United, it was a good save but I don’t really think too much about that after the win. That's football sometimes. We all felt that we could have gone in at half-time with a 2-0 lead or even more."
