Former Newcastle United goalkeeper Shaka Hislop says he expects the Magpies' club record signing Alexander Isak to score 15 goals during his debut season at St James' Park. The Sweden international joined Newcastle from Real Sociedad for a fee of around £60million and was Eddie Howe's marquee signing of the summer transfer window.
Isak marked his debut with his maiden goal for the club in Newcastle's 2-1 defeat against Liverpool at Anfield, while also having another goal ruled out for offside. He also featured in Newcastle's goalless draw against Crystal Palace, coming close after closing down Joachim Andersen, before he was foiled by an in-form Vicente Guaita.

Hislop, who spent three seasons at Newcastle following his move from Reading in 1995, has been 'pleasantly surprised' by the start made by the former Borussia Dortmund forward.
Speaking on ESPN, the former West Ham United and Portsmouth goalkeeper was full of praise for Isak and believes a tally of 15 goals would be a good return for his first season in England.
“I have to say I was really pleasantly surprised by his start, by the way he took his goal. I know he had one disallowed as well. Between now and the end of the season if Isak gets 15 that’s a very good return. I think he can get 15,” Hislop said.
