Alexander Isak has made it clear that his best position is centre-forward as he looks to re-ignite his £63million move from Real Sociedad.
The Sweden international got off to a flying start at Newcastle last summer with two goals against Liverpool and AFC Bournemouth before being hit with a thigh injury. But he returned against Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup and fan will be intrigued to see how he will fit into the team alongside Callum Wilson.
There have been some suggestions he could play out wide, but Isak, when asked on his favourite role, made it clear he sees himself as the main central striker.

Isak said: "I am a centre-forward. That is my position and where I am best. Then I think I have quite a wide game, so could do other things as well, so that is not for me to decide."
Reflecting on the tough start to what he felt as a dream move from La Liga to Newcastle United, Isak also said: "It was difficult. It is something you can’t control, once it has happened. For me, it was to accept it and try to get fit as quick. It wasn't that quick but I am happy now. "
