Alexa is getting new generative AI skills — here’s everything you can do now

Amazon has announced several new Alexa skills built using generative AI. Confirmed at CES 2024 the new tools include custom chatbots, music creation and an immersive quiz.

The new skills are part of a bigger change to the Alexa ecosystem including a new version of the voice assistant coming later this year built on a large language model. This is the same technology that powers OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
