Alexa Chung hid her ring finger while attending Bistrotheque's 20th birthday celebration dinner on Tuesday amid reports she is engaged to actor Tom Sturridge.
The model looked chic for the London soiree in an ankle-length black Molly Goddard dress and dark red stilettos as she posed for photos alongside Agyness Deyn, 41, and concealed her left hand behind her back.
Other notable guests in attendance at the dinner held in partnership with Tanqueray No. TEN included Nick Grimshaw, Isamaya Ffrench and Grace Wales Bonner.
Her outing comes after it was reported that Chung is engaged to boyfriend Tom Sturridge following months of speculation.
The 40-year-old first sparked speculation after she was pictured at pal Henry Holland’s 40th birthday bash, sporting something that appeared to be an engagement ring on her left hand.
Then in February, the fashion star was pictured flashing a ring on her wedding finger as she attended Paris Fashion Week.
And now an insider has said the couple is "over the moon" and arranging for a "classy" wedding ceremony set for the summer, two years after they went public with their romance.
A source told The Sun: “Alexa has confirmed to her friends that she is indeed engaged to Tom and she is over the moon.
“She is in a great place and seems completely head over heels for him. They're a great match.
“They have been hard at work planning a wedding with all of their close pals there. It won't be a massive over-the-top affair but a smaller, classier and cooler bash.”
Chung has previously expressed indifference to walking down the aisle.
She told Porter magazine in 2018, “I just don’t get why marriage is different from non-marriage — I just don’t get it … I think having a partner in life must be quite nice but I don’t need a wedding day per se”.
Chung has enjoyed a slew of high-profile romances including Alex Turner, Alexander Skarsgård and Orson Fry while Sturridge welcomed a daughter with ex Sienna Miller, whom he dated between 2011 and 2015.
The Standard has contacted Alexa Chung and Tom Sturridge’s reps for comment.
