Tony Mowbray named an unchanged side against Sheffield United, sticking with the same players who won at Norwich City at the weekend. The Black Cats beat the Canaries 1-0 at Carrow Road on Sunday, with injuries forcing Mowbray into making three changes for that game.
But after that impressive performance in Norfolk, he sent out the same XI for tonight's game against the Blades at the Stadium of Light as they looked to complete back-to-back wins. The only change he made was on the bench, where midfielder Alex Pritchard replaced youngster Ellis Taylor.
Pritchard was one of the three players to have missed out at the weekend, having picked up a minor injury in the defeat against Stoke City the previous weekend. Sheffield United boss Paul Heckingbottom made four changes, in his case to the side that started the weekend defeat at home to Luton Town.
