Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was less than impressed at being hooked during Liverpool's 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
The England international has struggled for game time this campaign and was keen to make an impression in the FA Cup, but a poor display saw him subbed on the hour mark with the scores still level. ITV cameras focused on Oxlade-Chamberlain as he made his way off the pitch, and he appeared far from happy with Jurgen Klopp's decision.
Oxlade-Chamberlain appeared to mutter something under his breath, although what he said has been debated by Liverpool fans, with some suggesting he was bemoaning his lack of game time and others claiming he referenced the formation being changed.
Either way, Klopp's call proved to be decisive as Liverpool finally found a breakthrough just 14 minutes after the former Arsenal midfielder made way, with Diogo Jota finding the back of the net for the Reds.
Liverpool will now face their Premier League title rivals Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final. Following the win over Forest, Klopp focused on the intense run of fixtures his Reds side now face in the coming weeks.
"We have Watford, Benfica, City, Benfica, City, United, Everton," said Klopp. "From a Liverpool perspective these are all massive games and we try to play them one at a time and not all together. We knew before the game City would be the opponent if we wanted to go to the final anyway. Now here we go.

"The further you go in whichever competition, the more likely you are you will face City at one point. I don't think we are the dream draw for anyone, but it will be a tough tie and we have to make sure it will be tough for City as well. But there are a lot of games to play before that."
On the match itself, he added: "It was the game we expected, especially if you don't use your chances. We could have played better, but we should have scored in the first half. If we scored earlier it would be a completely different game.
"All respect to Steve [Cooper] and Nottingham Forest, a top, top performance, really professional, really well organised. It was a brilliant atmosphere. Everything was prepared to give us a knock as well but because we were prepared for a fight we came through."
