Alex Neil will leave it as late as possible before deciding whether Nathan Broadhead is fit to return for Sunderland's play-off game at Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow night. The on-loan Everton striker limped out of the Black Cats' final game of the season at Morecambe last weekend with a muscle injury, and he missed Friday's semi-final first leg win against the Owls at the Stadium of Light with Neil saying that match came 'too soon' for him but that he would have 'a chance' of being involved tomorrow.
Neil is always reluctant to talk in detail about injuries, but as of this morning he has not ruled Broadhead out of the game at Hillsborough. "We'll make a decision on him," he said.
Broadhead is the only injury concern ahead of the second leg, as Sunderland look to press home their single-goal advantage after Friday's game, and with a Wembley date against either Wycombe or MK Dons awaiting the winners. "Everyone seems to be OK after Friday," said Neil.

"The lads were in yesterday afternoon, it's always difficult after a night game in terms of your sleep. But they've had a good rest now, they'll be back in this afternoon and then we'll take a view on how they are.
"But certainly there were no additional issues for us as of yesterday."
