Alex Lowry has branded his season as 'very disappointing' but says 'we go again next year'.
The Rangers youngster was tipped to kick on this season after penning an extension last May that will keep him at the club until 2025. He was handed his top team debut last January by Giovanni van Bronckhorst and found the back of the net and has since featured a number of times for the top team.
A knee injury didn't help his case as he looked to establish himself in the Light Blues' top team with limited minutes off the bench this season. He also featured for the B team this term but his ultimate aim will to be to prove himself to boss Michael Beale this summer during pre-season as he shapes his squad to challenge Celtic and try and reach the Champions League group stage once again.

Taking to social media after uploading pictures of himself in action against the Hoops, Bayer Leverkusen and during training sessions he wrote: "Very disappointing season for me personally. Thank you everyone for the support. We go again next year."
Ian Durrant commented on his post to give him some support ahead of pre-season by saying: "Wee summer break son. Get back in top condition. Good luck."
Lowry will be joined on his return to Rangers pre-season training with at least two new faces after Kieran Dowell and Dujon Sterling penned pre-contracts as part of the Beale rebuild at Ibrox.
The Light Blues said farewell to five players in the shape of Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent, Scott Arfield, Allan McGregor and Filip Helander in the final home game of the campaign against Hearts with the overhaul in Govan well underway.
Beale is expected to sign a host of other stars as he hopes to get the bulk of his business completed by the time his troops return to Auchenhowie to put in the hard graft.
