Alex Jones has revealed she is taking a month long break from presenting The One Show.
The 45-year-old took to social media last night and announced the news alongside a snap of her and co-host Jermaine Jenas on the famous green couch. She captioned the post: "And that is a wrap till the end of August."
Fans of the show will be gutted not to get their One Show fix as it makes way for coverage of the Commonwealth Games, which gets underway on Thursday. On their last show for the summer, the duo were joined by Lenny Henry and Tom Daley in Birmingham as the city gets ready to host the sporting event which will see the world's best athletes compete.
