Welsh TV presenter Alex Jones was missing from her normal presenting slot on The One Show on Friday, April 28 but she had spent the day filming for a different BBC show. Posting to her Instagram account Alex said she had a "bonkers" day.
The star posted pictures of her smiling at the camera and revealed she had been filming for Saturday night quiz show Michael McIntyre's The Wheel. Emma Willis instead presented The One Show alongside Jermaine Jenas.
Alex captioned her post: "A bonkers day filming #thewheel such a lot of fun. Feel like I’ve been on a night out! Face painted and hair by @lizbeckettmua Styled by @tesswrightstylist". It has not yet been announced when Alex's episode of Michael McIntyre's The Wheel will air or what her specialist topic was.

An also emotional Alex shakily replied: "Oh Anton...what a lovely tribute to Len" and told Anton he was like Len now he was a judge on Strictly Come Dancing. She said: "When we see you judging on Strictly you really remind me of Len, you really do. So he lives on through Anton."
