Alex Jones has revealed she will not be presenting The One Show for almost a month.
The popular presenter, 45, took to Instagram on Wednesday to post a snap of her and co-host Jermaine Jenas on the famous green couch.
She captioned the post: "And that is a wrap till the end of August."
It followed the duo's announcement on Wednesday's edition that loyal viewers won't get their week-daily fix as it makes way for coverage of the Commonwealth Games, which gets underway on Thursday.
The pair were joined on the show by Lenny Henry and Tom Daley in Birmingham as the city gets ready to host the sporting event which will see the world's best athletes compete.
And as Alex and Jermaine closed the latest edition of the popular weekday show, Alex told viewers they were taking a "summer break" until August 22.
She continued to say: "Stay safe and have a lovely summer."
The closing segment was also shared across the show's social media pages, with a number of Twitter users telling the pair to enjoy their break.
One user wrote: "Have a great holiday guys," while another penned: "Yes have a wonderful summer and enjoy."
News of the break comes after Welsh beauty Alex recently opened up on Instagram about the "challenging" times she had been facing at home.
She admitted earlier in the week that she's going through "a tricky and challenging patch in her life".
The presenter, who is mum to Teddy, Annie and Kit with husband Charlie Thompson, shared a snap of a lemon and thanked her followers for the kind messages she had received.
She wrote: "Things have been a bit tricky for us recently and in all honesty, I haven’t had time to be on here between working and the children but I randomly logged on and saw all your lovely messages gently asking if we were all ok.
"I was touched by your kindness and so I just wanted to check in and say thank you, and that even though life has been a bit challenging, we are ok and still managing to enjoy the beginning of the holidays and there’s still plenty to smile about! (I’ll pop some stuff on my stories)
"#whenlifegivesyoulemons #thekindnessofstrangers."
She was quickly inundated with more positive messages from pals and fans alike, including one from Zoe Ball, who wrote: "Big love atcha beauty."
