Fans were very quick to guess the identity of The Masked Singer winner last week - and many admitted he was their childhood crush! And now, joining these adoring fans, Welsh TV presenter Alex Jones has admitted she also once had the "biggest crush" on the winner of the competition, Charlie Simpson.
Charlie was a guitarist and lead singer in the popular noughties boy band Busted and recently won The Masked Singer as the character Rhino, with fans guessing quickly it was him. While hosting Claudia Winkleman's BBC Two breakfast show on Saturday, February 25, Alex admitted she used to have a huge crush on Charlie.
Telling listeners that Rylan would be chatting to Charlie next on his radio show, she gushed: "He is going to do - and I am very excited about this - karaoke with Charlie Simpson from Busted. Oh my gosh, I used to have the biggest crush on him, ever!"

Later in the show Alex chatted to Olympic diver Tom Daley and played Little Wins with guest Reverend Richard Coles. Alex didn't explain why she was standing in for "queen Claudia" but did say she felt very nervous.
"I love this show so much, standing in is very much a big deal," she said. "I feel a bit sick, I am sweating, hopefully, I can do Claud justice." This is not the first time recently that Alex has stood in for another presenter, as she stepped in for Matt Tebbutt on Saturday Kitchen Live on Saturday, February 11.
Speaking on The One Show on Friday, February 10 Alex admitted she was "no expert in the kitchen". She said it was "madness" and added she would be helping with the cooking. You can keep up to date with the latest TV and showbiz news by signing up to the newsletter here.
