Alex Hales made an impressive return to the England side as he hit a half-century in England’s T20 victory over Pakistan.
In what was England’s first match in the country for nearly 17 years, and the opening game of a seven-match series, Hales hit 53 off 40 balls to lead a successful run chase of 158 for a six-wicket win. The opener was back in the England set-up for the first time since March 2019, when he was axed following a failed recreational drugs test.
