Football fans were left in awe as Alessia Russo scored a stunning goal in England's emphatic Women's Euro 2022 semi-final win over Sweden.
Sarina Wiegman's side were two goals to the good thanks to efforts from Beth Mead and Lucy Bronze at Bramall Lane on Tuesday night, but Russo stole the show in the 68th minute of the contest.
After initially having a shot saved, Russo scored in emphatic fashion by nut-megging Swedish goalkeeper Hedvig Lindahl with a back-heeled effort when facing away from goal. Fran Kirby later added a fourth for the Lionesses, who booked their place in Sunday's Wembley final following what was a dominant display in Sheffield.
They will take on either Germany or France in the final.
Wiegman's side have beaten Austria, Norway, Northern Ireland, Spain and Sweden en route to the final, scoring 20 goals and conceding just once in the tournament so far.
