Aleksandar Mitrovic and Marco Silva apologise for FA Cup meltdowns in Fulham’s defeat to Man United

Marco Silva has apologied to referee Chris Kavanagh, calling him “one of the top referees” in England, after his sending off in Fulham’s FA Cup defeat at Manchester United.

In a joint apology on the club website, boss Silva and striker Aleksandar Mitrovic said sorry for their conduct during — and, in the case of Silva, after — Fulham’s 3-1 quarter-final defeat earlier this month.
