Chelsea have confirmed the departure of winger Alejandro Garnacho on a loan deal to Aston Villa, bringing an end to whirlwind 12 months for the Argentina international at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues also confirmed the deal includes an obligation to make the move permanent should certain conditions be met. The specifics of the agreement have not yet been fully revealed, but it’s largely geared around the number of appearances Garnacho will make—similar to the deal that Villa struck for Harvey Elliott last summer.
