Academy starlet Alejandro Garnacho has named the five biggest influences on his Manchester United career. After impressing for the age-group sides at Old Trafford, the 17-year-old has been called up by Argentina alongside Lionel Messi for two World Cup qualifiers this month.
Born in Madrid, the teenager has been chosen by Argentina for their upcoming games against Venezuela and Ecuador. He is yet to make his senior debut for United, but the winger has shone for the Under-18s on their way to the FA Youth Cup final this season.
It should only be a matter of time before Garnacho is called upon by Ralf Rangnick or the next United manager, but before then he might already have become a full international. Despite representing Spain at age-group level, Garnacho is set to team up with Messi and other established senior players during this international break. Argentina take on Venezuela in Buenos Aires on Friday night and that will be followed up by another qualifier in Ecuador.

Garnacho only arrived at Old Trafford from Atletico Madrid in 2020. However, less than two years later, the rising star has attributed his call-up to five key figures behind the scenes at Old Trafford.
During an interview with United's official website, he said: "My whole family have supported me in every kind of decision that I've taken and my agent Carlos is just like family to me.
"Within the club, I'd also like to thank all the staff and all my teammates who have constantly been helping me to improve. My Under-18s coach, Travis [Binnion], who I started to work with eight months ago, he has helped me a lot and I've come on so much as a footballer thanks to him.
"And now in the Under-23s with Neil Wood and Neil Ryan, who are two great coaches who are always helping me and want the best for me. I'd also like to thank Justin [Cochrane] and Darren Fletcher who are the two other people within the club who have always looked out for me, giving me their support in all kinds of decisions."
