In his latest Instagram post, American actor Alec Baldwin dons a snappy white shirt, red tie and navy blue slacks — and pops a squat on the toilet.
With his boomer boxers around his ankles, he pouts as he looks out a nearby window, his orange-blond hair slicked back in a familiar fashion.
Swiping to the next picture, followers see a stylist spraying hair product onto a strand of his fiery locks that he holds up dramatically, his puckered lips still protruding from his clean-shaven face.
Hold up a second... Alec Baldwin's hair isn't orange-blond — it's usually much more silvery in nature. And what happened to his grey beard?
The third and fourth pictures reveal the true nature of the actor's post.
In the former, Baldwin gets almost uncomfortably close to the camera, shows his hands and opens his mouth in a disgusted, squinty yet still puckered-lipped smirk.
And in the latter, he appears on the cover of Kurt Andersen's book 'You Can't Spell America Without Me: The Really Tremendous Inside Story of My Fantastic First Year As President Donald J. Trump (a So-Called Parody),' which Baldwin co-wrote with the satirical author.
Baldwin was cosplaying as former U.S. President Donald Trump for a book cover photoshoot.
"From YOU CAN’T SPELL AMERICA WITHOUT ME, written by KURT ANDERSEN (with a line or two from yours truly)," the actor wrote.
It's not the first time the 'Pearl Harbor' star has portrayed the Republican politician, who was historically indicted last week and charged with 37 felonies — Baldwin used to dress up as Trump for comedy skits during cold opens on Saturday Night Live.
Fans flocked to the comments section of the TV star's Instagram post and gave their reactions to Baldwin's getup.
"Love it! Hope to see you on SNL SOON!!" wrote user @honormonkey.
"I despise that guy. But absolutely love your DT character," @cacau2873 commented.
"You sir have brought me to belly laughs and I’m here for more!" added @justrobynly.
But not all the comments were positive.
Some Instagrammers brought up the involuntary manslaughter charges that were recently dropped against the 'Rust' actor, who fatally shot cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and wounded director Joel Souza in October 2021.
"I guess you’re feeling better now @alecbaldwininsta ? Now that the charges were dropped?" commented @deborahcohen7618.
"With your history and all that is going on in your life…. this is where you are focusing your energy!? Pretty sad and disappointing," user @nettaknot chimed in.
