No visit to Aldi would be complete without a trip to the middle aisle, which as we all know is a bonafide Aladdin's cave for bargain hunters. Many may not realise however that the quality of the treasures on offer may well vary depending on what day of the week you choose to pop in.
Having recently been crowned as the cheapest supermarket in the UK by consumer group Which?, thrifty customers are now keen to figure out exactly how they can make the absolute most out of their shopping trip.
With this in mind, Julie Ashfield, the Managing Director of Buying at Aldi, has come forward with her pearls of wisdom when it comes to savvy shopping, including navigating that famed middle aisle of wonder.
Shoppers can browse Aldi's Special Buys any day of the week they choose, however, there are two days in particular when you can check out brand-new arrivals, either in-store or online.
As previously reported by The Sun, Julie revealed: "While our core range is available all year round and regularly replenished, our Specialbuys can be found in the middle aisle on Thursdays and Sundays.
"A top tip is to also sign up for the weekly newsletter to be one of the first to hear about anything new or returning best-sellers."
Aldi Special Buys currently tempting customers include a white Electic Room Diffuser for £19.99, and a Gardenline Geometric Fire Pit for £79.99, which could well be perfect purchases for those looking to give their homes a bit of a spring clean.
As any serious Aldi shopper knows all too well, the best bargains tend to get snapped up sharpish, so planning your shopping trip days for Thursday or Sunday could well help you bag a bargain you may have otherwise ended up missing out on.
