Nearly 50 sold and a further 49 shoppers viewing - Aldi's wooden playhouse certainly sparked the interest of shoppers when we were viewing it online. The £139.99 children's hide-out was branded 'perfect for little ones' by the budget retailer.
The item, which is available to pre-order now ready to be dispatch from Sunday, April 24, is a replica of an adults garden summer house - just smaller. Of timber construction, it has a little door, and measurements of 137cm x 91.5cm x 119cm. Windows are unglazed and you'll need to assemble the playhouse yourself but, according to Aldi, it is a great for encouraging children's imaginative play.
"Set up the playhouse of their dreams," says the retailer. Adding: "Your little one will love having a place to call their own where they can go on hundreds of magical adventures. This can act as a shelter to play in, or alternatively it can be a portal to a magical universe. Let your little one's imagination thrive and gift them a playhouse any child would love to own."
