Retail giant Aldi has told shoppers there will be a major change in opening hours during the Easter period.
The supermarket warned shoppers in advance that over the Easter weekend, Aldi will be changing some of its stores opening times. The Easter weekend will see two Bank Holidays, one on Good Friday (April 7) and one on Easter Monday (April 10).
As reported by Manchester Evening News, the supermarket will change its opening times, with stores set to close to give staff a much needed break. Over the Easter weekend, more than 890 Aldi stores in England and Wales will be open until 10pm on Good Friday and Easter Saturday.

As with previous years, stores will be closed on Easter Sunday, but will be open until 8pm on Easter Monday. The opening times of some stores may vary, so shoppers should check details for their local on Aldi’s website before making the trip. Aldi has previously been praised for closing stores on Easter Sunday.
On Facebook, one Aldi shopper said: "Good for Aldi giving there staff a holiday for Easter Sunday more should do this."
A second shopper added: "Very pleased you've got this special day off, Happy Easter to all the hard working staff." Sue Rice said: "All Aldi staff have a lovely Easter Sunday with your loved ones."
A third shopper said: "Well done Aldi!!! Staff need a break as well."

Wednesday 5 April - 8am - 10pm
Thursday 6 April - 8am - 10pm
Good Friday 7 April - 8am - 10pm
Easter Saturday 8 April - 8am - 10pm
Easter Sunday 9 April - Closed
Easter Monday 10 April - 8am - 8pm
