Aldi has released a teaser for its 2022 Christmas advert featuring the return of Kevin the Carrot - who recreates an iconic TV moment.
A new 50-second clip has been unveiled showing Kevin and his family ready to jet off to Paris for a Christmas break. In the video, the supermarket's popular carrot is seen with his wife Katie, and their kids Baby, Chantenay and Jasper enjoy at the airport, the Mirror reports.
Reading a newspaper, disgruntled Kevin gets annoyed at people deciding to 'hold a football tournament in December'. He screws up the newspaper in frustration before some very famous footballers - reimagined as vegetables - decide to have a kickabout with the discarded newspaper.

Ronaldi - a lemon - is the first to get the ball, before he passes it to Messy, a blueberry. True to their name, Messy creates quite a situation as they knock over the cups of coffee and dribble with the ball through the obstacles of the discarded cups. From there, they hand it over to MmmBap - a pack of bread rolls - who headers it and runs through the group.
Roy Bean takes it off MmmBap as Kevin gets involved, but his pace can't quite match the professional footballers. Macarooney, Beth Swede and Marrowdonna - reimagined as macaroon, swede and marrow respectively - all take their aim with the ball, before Kevin finally gets his hands - or feet - on the newspaper ball. Finally, he gives it a kick.
As he makes his move towards the goal, he kicks it up and it hits the crossbar - which has been reimagined as a belt of a security barrier. The departure board changes to reveal Kevin's Paris flight is no longer boarding - but is departed! He's missed his flight.
As Kevin's family settle in their seat, they realise their mistake. Katie, having belted all her kids in, then screams for her husband as she notices Kevin isn't there. But will Kevin make it to Paris - or will he be spending Christmas Home Alone?
The video, which is expected to be released shortly, is a tribute to the iconic 1998 Nike World Cup Advert, and features a number of famous faces of the sporting world, but as you've never seen them before. The teaser has been released ahead of the full advert, expected soon.
Last year, Aldi's Christmas advert starred Marcus Rashford as a radish, with the footballer even providing the voice. The advert was a remake of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol and followed the story of Ebanana Scrooge. Kevin the Carrot was back in action and reminded the banana of the spirit of the season, before he stopped to chat with Marcus Radishford, voiced by the striker.
