Budget grocery chain Aldi is launching the largest-ever supermarket Hot Cross Bun, which is as big as a human head. Samantha Ramsdell, the woman with the world’s largest mouth, tried - unsuccessfully – to eat the Easter treat, which is eight inches wide.
The new Specially Selected Giant Brioche Hot Cross Bun (£3.49, 600g) goes on sale in stores and online from March 27. Broadcasting the unbelievable challenge to her 2.9 million TikTok followers, Samantha can be seen comparing the giant Aldi bun to a normal-sized version before gearing up to gobble the gigantic Easter treat.
Samantha has previously gone viral by consuming a whole sandwich in one mouthful, so the pressure was certainly on for the Guinness World Record holder. Despite several valiant efforts, Samantha was unable to fit Aldi’s new 600g show-stopping spectacle, which is as big as a human head, into her mouth, which spans 2.56 inches, in one bite.
