Families looking to spread out their costs during the build-up to Christmas can pick up some frozen turkeys and turkey crowns from Aldi a little bit earlier this year.
There is no denying the festive period is one of the most expensive for many households, and this year might be even more of a struggle due to the cost of living crisis. Which is exactly why budget supermarket chain Aldi has decided to stock a range of frozen turkeys for families looking to get in a few festive essentials before the Christmas shopping dash begins.
On sale now, early shopping birds can begin their festive meal prep with Aldi’s Large Whole British Turkey (£19.99, 5.4kg-7.2kg), or Small Whole British Turkey (£13.49, 2.8kg-4kg).
Aldi's frozen turkeys are described as offering shoppers a tender British meat feast with "a delicious crispy skin and succulent juicy flavours once cooked."
And that is not all that Aldi has on sale early, as shoppers can also find Aldi’s succulent Frozen Medium British Turkey (£15.99, 4-5.4kg) and Frozen Medium British Turkey Crowns (£15.49, 2-2.3kg) have also just landed in stores.
With all of their turkeys being frozen, shoppers looking to get in some festive essentials early can be rest assured that they will stay fresh until the big day officially arrives.
This is not the first year that the discounted German grocer has stocked their Christmas dinner centrepieces early, as it also stocked their frozen turkeys in October last year to avoid festive shortages.
The supermarket giant decided to make the decision this year to help families and households across the country battle rising prices during the cost of living crisis.
It comes just as Aldi also releases its frozen food meal plan that aims to help cash-strapped shoppers that highlighted how households can create 15 meals under £30 using Aldi products.
Aldi's range of frozen British turkeys and turkey crowns are available in-stores now.
