This weekend the clocks go forward, and so, I’ll lose a precious hour of shut-eye this Mother’s Day. However, I’ve been using a few fabulous insomnia-busting products to help me get my full eight hours.
One of those is the Morphee, which is a little device that sends me to sleep in less than eight minutes, while another is the Superdrug Vitamin E lavender body butter that’s a dupe for Lush Sleepy. But for those moments where I just need to rest my eyes after hours of staring at the laptop screen, I’ve been indulging with one of Aldi’s latest SpecialBuys.

Aldi launched their self-heating eye masks in store last week, costing £4.99 for a pack of five. The soothing masks come in two scents, jasmine and chamomile, that can help achieve a quick 20 minutes of zen.
The masks are a dupe of the cult beauty favourites Spacemasks, which retail at £16.50, so Aldi shoppers are saving a whopping £11.
Activated by air, the masks loop over each ear and heat to a relaxing and comfortable temperature, and stay warm for around 25-30 minutes. I bought the jasmine scented version, and have to say it was a gorgeous experience that felt like an aromatherapy spa session.
The eye masks are made with a non-woven lining for comfort, and can even be used as a regular light-blocking eye mask after use, too.
And like Spacemasks, the Lacura dupe also features an astrological print design in navy on the outside of the mask.

This SpecialBuy product helps my rest my eyes so that I feel more awake and rejuvenated for the rest of the day - and will be a lifesaver for when the start of British Summer Time throws your body clock off. Having used Spacemasks in the past, the Aldi product is very similar, so I’d say it’s a pretty good dupe that can save shoppers more than two thirds of the cost.
They’re not just fab for tired eyes and helping to fall asleep, but also can help relieve tension headaches, and offer a moment of me-time. The must-have relaxing eye masks are not currently available online, but are in store at Aldi.
Alternatively, Beauty Pro offer five self heating eye masks for £11.95, while Superdrug stock the more expensive Health and Her version for £19.99.
