Popular supermarket Aldi has announced its slashing its prices on prosecco just in time for the Jubilee Weekend.
From Friday May 27, shoppers will be able to enjoy the ‘Costellore Prosecco Spumante’ prosecco for under £5, originally priced at £6. Many Brits are set to enjoy a few glasses of bubbly over the four-day bank holiday weekend, so Aldi has timed its bargain perfectly.
The Aldi classic Italian sparkling wine ‘offers fruity peach and pear flavours and notes or apple peel and lemon zest’. This makes it the perfect accompaniment for a street party buffet.
