One savvy Aldi customer shared details of an ice cream product stocked by the bargain giant that is a "copy" of a similar item made by Lotus — and other shoppers were quick to share their thoughts.
Biscuit company Lotus is known for its many Biscoff products — including ice cream sticks flavoured like the biscuits that are usually priced at around £4.
Aldi sells Gianni's Caramelised Biscuits Chocsticks in both milk and white chocolate varieties for less than £2, and one shopper picked up on the similarities.

Taking to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, she wrote: "New to Aldi.. copy of Lotus Biscoff ice cream think they was £1.49".
Before long, almost 2,000 group members liked the post — with more than 2,300 leaving comments.
One said: "The milk ones are amazing been getting them since they came out never tried the white ones"
"I got the milk chocolate ones ate all 3 in 1 sitting too good," a second agreed.
Another commented: "They are delicious".
A fourth went even further, declaring: "Far better as well".
"I can confirm the white ones and milk choc ones are amazing," a fifth shared.
A sixth simply stated: "They are amazing".
"They look yummy," a seventh agreed.
