Aldi shoppers have taken to social media to share their delight upon discovering one of the supermarket's budget meals. According to the Liverpool Echo, customers have shared their excitement on a Facebook group dedicated to Aldi lovers over one of the store's "fakeaway" deals.
One woman shared a photo of Aldi's Ready Set Cook! Oven ready crispy aromatic half duck with pancakes costing a mere £6.49. It comes as the cost-of-living crisis continues to grip Brits across the country, with many looking to save the pennies wherever they can.
The Aldi product, which includes hoi sin sauce, serves two. Sharing her review, she said: "Tried this tonight, absolutely divine.

"Did it in the air fryer and the skin was so crispy and yum. Won't bother getting [it] from takeaway again, tasty, cheap and you know exactly how many calories you're eating."
Other shoppers seemed to agree. One said: "We've had this a few times, very nice", while a second said: "This is a favourite in our [house], get it most weekends".
A third said: "Ooh this looks lovely, will have to give it a go", and a fourth said: "Can you do this in the oven?", to which the original poster replied: "Yes, we just thought we'd try it in AF".
