Aldi shoppers rush to order £12 kitchen gadget that slashes energy bills to pennies

Aldi is bringing back one of its most popular products ever, the highly coveted air fryer, along with other kitchen appliances that are certain to be a big hit with health-conscious shoppers.

Helping households cut the cost of their energy usage in the kitchen, the Aldi air fryer, which has been described as a dupe for the more expensive Ninja brand, will be available to pre-order from January, 2, 2023 and in stores from January, 5, 2023.

In November shoppers queued from the early hours of the morning to buy Aldi's 3-litre air fryer but many were sadly disappointed to find stocks low or non-existent. Having sold out in minutes online, shoppers took to social media to complain about the lack of organisation in many of their Manchester-based stores, including Stockport.

This time around though the budget favourite will be offering a £39.99 4.5L air fryer that will allow shoppers to make healthy meals quickly and easily, using less energy to help keep costs down.

There will also be a Halogen Air Fryer which is touting as costing just 14p a day to run. For £29.99, keen cooks can make use of the full thermostatic temperature controls and timer functions, as well as the huge 17L capacity and a self-cleaning function.

Both models are predicted to sell out quickly once again, but anyone lucky enough to get their hands on one will be well placed to get a head start on their healthy eating resolutions for 2023.

As part of their January SpecialBuys, Aldi is also releasing a £34.99 soup maker which costs just 34p an hour to run. Offering four different features, shoppers will be able to create tasty and healthy soups at home, and the appliance can be used for both hot and cold liquids to suit a wide array of recipes.

The range will also include an Omelette Maker for £11.99 with non-stick cooking plates and enough space to cook two omelettes at once, and an electric grill for £24.99 that could see bill-payers save an incredible 86% on energy costs compared to using an electric hob.

The Aldi Nutribullet will be available online only for £79.99 (Aldi)

With a Nutribullet Juicer set to be released at the same time, shoppers could save up to £20 on the price of other retailers, while being able to make fresh juices to kick start a clean new year.

Smaller items from the new gadget range include microwave mugs, digital kitchen scales and a microwave steamer which will be available to buy in the store on January 5, 2023.
