An Aldi shopper has called their latest Specialbuy item 'insane' after picking up the product in store.
The £39.99 air fryer is currently being offered by the German retailer.
Air fryers generally have created quite a lot of debate recently and the topic certain brings out some definite view points.
But after one shopper made the decision to buy, they took to Facebook to share their opinion.
The new owner wrote: "Purchased Aldi specialbuy air fryer…£39:99. It’s insane! Best thing I’ve bought in years! Grab yours quickly."
Fellow shoppers were quick to join the debate.
One commented: "I’ve just brought one it’s well good "
Another wrote: "It’s good! Just quite small but I’ve not used my oven since getting it"
The Aldi product they're discussing is the Ambiano Air Fryer that has a 2.6L capacity. The 1400w machine is finished in black and promotes oil free frying.
It has eight pre-set programmes and temperature control which ranges from around 80-200 degrees.
The retailer says that the gadget will help you make "homemade versions of your favourite foods" which are "often a healthier choice".
It says: "Use the fryer to cook your favourite foods or experiment with new recipes and meals you've always wanted to try. Featuring non-slip feet, a detachable basket."
It's operated by a digital control panel.
Not everyone was quite so impressed though.
One person replied to the post saying: "I've had chips in mine and they aren't as good as deep fat fryer xx"
Others disagreed though. Another wrote: "My air fryer chips are as good as deep fried. I toss mine in oil and salt before putting them in the airfryer plus I cook them at a lower temperature for longer than stated and I shake them a lot, all through practice as I've used one for about 10 years and couldn’t be without one now".
Aldi's Ambiano Air Fryer is in stores now or can be ordered through the retailer's website for £39.99. Delivery is charged from £2.95.
