Aldi shoppers rave about new festive bakes that are 'just like Greggs'

Aldi's new festive bakes are proving a hit with shoppers - with claims that they taste just like the Greggs version.

Aldi is selling Crestwood Festive Bakes in the run up to Christmas but the new snack has already sold out online. On Wednesday morning, the Crestwood 2 Festive Bakes 308g were out of stock on the retailer's website.

Taking to a Facebook group dedicated to fans of the budget retailer, many shoppers have praised the new item. The product comes in packs of two and the pasties are described as: "Tender chicken breast pieces with smoked bacon, sage seasoning and cranberries, in a creamy rich sauce, wrapped in flaky golden pastry".
