Budget supermarket Aldi has shoppers obsessed with its latest SpecialBuy item, which customers say they “looks more expensive” than it is.
Aldi’s SpecialBuys often prove popular with shoppers, many of whom anxiously await Thursdays and Sundays to see what they’ll be able to get their hands on. Recently, SpecialBuy products have included everything from hanging egg chairs to hot tubs - but this time, it's the retailer’s Black Wooden Tripod Floor Lamp that’s catching shoppers’ attention.
The lamp features a modern, stylish design. According to the product description, the “ luxurious and bright” floor lamp comes with an on/off switch on the cable, a white shade and a bulb. The tripod lamp is priced at £49.99.

The popular lamp has racked up a number of five star reviews on the Aldi website. One reviewer said: “Add a little brightness. Contemporary lampshade that looks classy and expensive. A great addition to any space.”
A second wrote: “Stylish lamp. Bought it on offer but it looks more expensive than it is. My only criticism is that the shade was a bit dented and typically not on the seam side! But a nice lamp”. A third added: “Really impressive lamp and great quality for the price. Have seen very similar lamps for triple the price with other retailers so chuffed with the bargain”.
A fourth excited shopper said: “Delighted! Very pleased with the lamp which looks very stylish. Bargain at the price! Thank you Aldi.” A fifth wrote: “Bargain. Great value for money, even get a bulb with it. I have looked all over for one of these lamps and most cost £70+ so for just under £50 this is a great deal. Looks beautiful up too.”
Another added: “A great value and good looking piece of furniture. Really great value. Easy to assemble and looks much more expensive. I like how you can alter the height too. It’s sturdy and teamed with my Alexa bulb I’m delighted with it.” Aldi’s Black Wooden Tripod Floor Lamp is priced at £49.99 and is available exclusively online. You can shop the Specialbuy here.
