Aldi shoppers love ‘excellent’ £50 Specialbuy that’ll ‘keep you warm’ at bedtime

With the colder nights creeping in, many may be tempted to pick up the thermostat and crank it up a notch or two before bedtime. However, Aldi shoppers have been swapping central heating for an ‘excellent’ Specialbuy that keeps their bed nice and toasty.

The German retailer - which recently became the UK's fourth largest supermarket - said their King Dual Heated Under Blanket ‘will keep you warm through the colder months to come’, taking the edge off those chilly nights.

Priced at £49.99, the underblanket is double layered with detachable dual controllers, so you can set your side of the bed to a comfortable temperature, which is sure to reduce bedtime arguments.

The underblanket features an LED display with six different heat settings, and works by trapping warm air between your quilt and mattress, keeping the bed extra cosy.

For those who worry about heated devices, the Aldi blanket has ‘automatic overheating protection’ as well as a three-year warranty and 10 pre-set timer settings so you can have it turn on and off as you wish.

The blanket attaches to the bed just like a fitted sheet, which is one of the design features praised by shoppers, who have left 44 five-star reviews on the Aldi website , with several wondering why they didn’t get one sooner.
