Aldi shoppers have been loving a SpecialBuy item they are calling "better than ghd".
The Remington PROluxe Hair Straighteners are part of the health and beauty SpecialBuys range and are currently available for £44.99. The product is an online exclusive and can be ordered on the Aldi website.
According to the product description, the corded straighteners aim to "lock in beautiful and healthy-looking styles all day long." They come with OPTIheat technology which targets heat to wear it is needed most, with a PRO+ setting that sets the temperature to one that will help hair stay healthy.

The Remington product also comes with a five year warranty and a heat proof pouch. Many Aldi shoppers have compared the straighteners to the popular ghd straighteners, which can be purchased for £119 from John Lewis, with some models of ghd straightener costing £299.
The straighteners have a amassed an array of glowing reviews from Aldi shoppers, with many preferring them to the more expensive brand. One reviewer said: "Great straighteners, very easy to use and great value for money."
Another fan wrote: "After my GHDs finally gave out I thought I'd try these and I love them. They heat up really quick and the variable temperature is brilliant. My hair is quite curly and these do a great job for a low price. Highly recommend."
