Supermarket giant has sent shoppers wild with a SpecialBuy which many people say 'tastes exactly like McDonald's.' But while people love the taste, some shoppers aren't quite so keen on the price tag.
The retailer is now selling boxes of four chicken goujons, which come with a choice of sauce. The item looks suspiciously like McDonald's Chicken Selects, and apparently tastes like them, too.
On the NewFoodsUK page, Hannah Tordoff wrote: "My daughter had these today and she is fussy. She said they’re literally no different to McDonald’s." Paula Dabinett said: "They are nice we had the bbq sauce ones & it's was delicious."

Sarah Howlett explained: " have tried the hash browns and the chicken nuggets and they taste exactly like macdonalds. So you may want to try these." Lisa Dolatowski wrote: "I will be buying these."
Some shoppers have pointed out an issue with paying £2.49 for four pieces of chicken. That works out at 62p for a single chicken nugget. Many shoppers suggested that the chicken in Iceland is just as nice, and better value.
Paula Nanny P Hatton said: "Get better deal from Iceland and taste much better and obviously get more for your money." Rosemary Bennett agreed: "I'd rather go to the food warehouse and buy 3 big bags of chicken goujons for £10."
Zoe Selway said: "I think they are too expensive." Paula Crowe added: "£2-49 for the 4 strips."
Stephanie Somers slammed: "4?! Not worth the packaging." Matthew Wragg chimed in: "I’d try them .. but for nearly 3 pound … won’t be worth it."
Manchester Evening News has approached Aldi for comment.
