Aldi shoppers were delighted as they managed to get hold of the extremely popular Prime Hydration energy drink despite 'carnage' queues. Adam Smith, 36 from Wollaton queued from 7am on Thursday, December 29 with his ten-year-old son Charlie to get one of the limited edition drinks.
From Thursday, December 29 the highly-sought drink created by Youtube stars KSI and Logan Paul will be stocked at all Aldi supermarkets for £1.99 as a Specialbuy. Mr Smith said they managed to get one of each of the three flavours but the drinks sold out quickly.
He said: "Every child is obsessed with this Prime Hydration drink so my son insisted that we got up this morning before Aldi opened at 8am because they are stocking it. We joined the queue at 7.20am and it was carnage but there wasn't enough for everyone," he said.
