If you're looking for an affordable bottle of wine to stock up on for the festive season, then it looks like Aldi has you covered.
The budget supermarket chain has become the go-to place for any affordable branded 'dupes', whether it be for makeup, candles and even skincare.
And now it looks like it has branched out into luxury wines, as shoppers have been scrambling to get their hands on a bottle of rose that looks - and tastes - exactly like a posh version with a bigger price tag.
The Sun reports that one shopper took to social media to share how Aldi's Pierre Jaurant Sud De France Rosé is a 'dupe' for one of her favourites, Whispering Angel.
And while the luxury wine will set you back £20 for just one bottle, Aldi's own bottle will cost just £5, making it a great opportunity to stock up for the festive season.
Taking to her TikTok account, @thecosmeticconsultant, she shared a quick 5-second clip to her followers as she gushed over the budge-friendly bottle of wine.
“My fav! It’s limited edition so stock up,” Ashley gushes over the £5 wine, using the hashtags #bargain #aldidupes.
In the video, Ashley can be seen holding Aldi's bottle of wine, which also features the same light blush colour as the Whispering Angel brand.
Aldi describes its Pierre Jaurant Sud De France Rosé "an exquisite, elegant rosé" that is "clean on the palate, and filled with percing fruit flavours."
Shoppers keen to get their hands on the bargain bottle of wine quickly flocked to Ashley's comments to rave over the "lovely" bottle of wine.
"Really I’m on my way to Aldi now", raved one shopper.
"Its a lovely wine try it last night", replied a second.
"The best", agreed a third.
However, not everyone was convinced, as some shoppers thought that Aldi's version tasted nothing like Whispering Angel.
"I don’t think it is, but it is a lovely wine", commented one shopper.
While a second unimpressed shopper wrote: "It’s rank tastes like vinegar don’t bother!"
