An Aldi shopper was horrified to find what looked like 'a dead snake' inside a tin of baked beans which she'd bought from her local store. The 26-year-old from Porth in Rhondda Cynon Taf purchased the tin of Corale premium quality baked beans from a nearby branch of the popular supermarket, only to "nearly throw it across the room" when she lifted the lid.
Peering at the contents she saw what she described as "something grey and black with distinctive markings" floating in the sauce. "So, um... is that a snake in my beans?" she asked in a tweet, to which she attached a pic of said item.
The post has since been viewed a million times and commented on by hundreds of equally revolted social media users - many of whom admitted that the sight had turned them from fans of the food into 'has-beans'.
