Aldi selling dupe of sell-out McDonald's burger

Just as McDonald's brings back one of its cult classics in the McSpicy Chicken Burger, supermarket chain Aldi has launched its own version. And the Roosters Gastro Flamin' Hot Chicken Burger costs a fraction of the price.

The £4.29 McSpicy always goes down a treat with fans and is widely expected to be a sell-out choice on the fast food chain menu. But the Aldi version is a snip of the price at just £2.99.

Designed to fire up taste buds, the tantalisingly tasty Roosters burger contains two chicken breasts, tenderly spiced with herbs and a layer of crispy golden coating. The budget supermarket says McSpicy fans should be unable to set the two apart.
