Aldi selling £6 dupe of Molly-Mae’s favourite £45 Laura Mercier bath honey

A best-selling Aldi bath product has returned to the Specialbuys aisle after being sold out for months and shoppers say it’s a dupe of a £45 version from Laura Mercier. The Lacura Vanilla Honey Golden Bath Nectar comes in at £5.99 and it’s perfect for soaking away the day in the tub.

The bargain beauty buy sold out faster than any other Lacura beauty line ever has after it was introduced in January, and it’s easy to see why, having picked up a tub when it returned to stores on Sunday (May 15).

The Laura Mercier version has been praised by shoppers and celebrities alike, including former Love Islander Molly-Mae Hague. The product has frequently been spotted in pictures of her bathtub in the home she shares with Tommy Fury.

Aldi’s version is £39 cheaper than the luxury brand and customers have raved about the ‘amazing’ dupe online, saying it creates even more bubbles than the expensive brand.

JedwardsJarro99 said: “Amazing dupe for Honey Bath by LM. Smells lovely packaging is very nearly identical and actually bubbles more in the bath than the real thing!”

LB94 added: “I bought this after seeing it all over TikTok, it smells amazing and foams up really well. And saves you £40 compared to other brands.”

Trying it for myself I discovered that Lacura’s Vanilla Honey Golden Bath Nectar smells incredible with calming scents of vanilla and honey. The pot of golden, shimmery bath cream also comes with a wooden honey dipper that you can run under the tap to create a mound of bubbles to sink into.

To avoid making a mess, you have to dunk the dipper in the soak and then spin it between your fingers so the product doesn’t drip before you run it beneath the tap. I found that three dippers worth of product created the perfect amount of bubbles,

My long hot bath felt extremely luxurious and there’s no way you’d catch me paying £45 for a bubble bath when this one is the price of a gin and lemonade. Molly-Mae might want to pop down to her local Aldi and save a few quid.
